Creative Center Osaka (Namura Shipbuilding Former Osaka Site)

Designated a heritage building for industrial modernization, this former shipbuilding site is now used as a creative art complex and event space.

Located at the mouth of the Kizu River, Creative Center Osaka occupies the site formerly used as the Osaka shipyards for Namura Shipbuilding and is now a facility to support initiatives in the arts. The docks, drawing offices, and other structures still stand today and hold significant potential as artistic, unique event space, serving as the meeting place of creation and communication. In 2007, the site was designated a Heritage of Industrial Modernization by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry.
