The OCTB will be exhibiting at IBTM World 2024,

one of the two largest trade fairs in Europe!

IBTM World 2024, the largest meetings and events trade fair in Europe, is held annually in Barcelona, Spain. This year’s event is expected to bring over 2,200 exhibiting organizations/companies from over 150 countries/regions, with 3,600 hosted buyers from 83 different countries/regions, based on 2023 turnout. The venue will be the site of an incredible number of meetings between event planners, destinations, and more, and IBTM World has already been key in bringing many meetings and events to Osaka. Compared to IMEX, held annually in Frankfurt, IBTM World has a higher percentage of European buyers and is characterized by its ability to attract incentive travel and corporate meetings. The Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau will also be on site, speaking with event planners to help them bring their meetings and events to Osaka, as well as to promote next year’s Expo 2025.
